All sales of digital content on Subvert are final - but there are a few specific circumstances where we'll issue a refund.
When we issue refunds
- You haven't yet downloaded any files from the purchase
- The files contain a technical defect - corrupted audio, missing tracks, or a significant mismatch between what was described and what was delivered - that can't be resolved by re-downloading or by the artist uploading corrected files within 5 business days
- A refund is required by applicable law
Refund requests must be submitted within 180 days of the original purchase date.
How to request a refund Email us at info@subvert.fm with your order details and the reason for your request. We handle all refund requests centrally.
Optional Contributions are non-refundable If you made an Optional Contribution to the co-op at checkout, that amount is non-refundable under all circumstances - including if the associated purchase is refunded. The contribution and the purchase are treated separately.
For artists - chargebacks If a buyer initiates a chargeback through their bank, your payout may be temporarily withheld while the dispute is resolved. Repeated chargebacks on releases may result in account review. If a refund is issued due to a defect in your uploaded files, Subvert reserves the right to recover the refunded amount from your future payouts.
