WHAT IS SUBVERT?
Subvert is a music marketplace owned and run by its members. There's no platform fee, and members are co-owners with a vote in how it works.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ACCEPT?
Two things. You get access to manage the page you were invited to, at the role the person chose for you. And you join the Subvert co-op as a member, which makes you a co-owner with a vote. If you already have a Subvert account, you just get the page access, nothing else changes.
DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
No. There's no fee to join.
WHAT AM I AGREEING TO?
You're agreeing to the co-op's bylaws and member agreement, and becoming a co-owner with a vote in how Subvert is run. The full documents are linked in the acceptance form before you confirm.

CAN I LEAVE LATER?
Yes. Membership is voluntary. You can resign anytime from your account
settings under Danger Zone. Leaving gives up your ownership stake and vote.
DO MY BANDMATES EACH NEED TO APPLY SEPARATELY?
No. The invite is the way in. When they accept, they join the co-op as a member without a separate application.
WHAT CAN EACH ROLE DO?
- Viewer can see the page and its analytics.
- Editor can also upload and edit releases.
- Admin can do everything, including inviting others and managing payouts.
IF I'M ALREADY A CO-OP MEMBER, DOES ACCEPTING CHANGE ANYTHING?
No. If you're already a member, accepting just adds access to this page.
Your membership stays exactly as it is.
AM I PERSONALLY LIABLE FOR ANYTHING BY JOINING?
Subvert is a limited cooperative association, which works like an LLC or a corporation when it comes to liability. Being a member doesn't make you personally responsible for the co-op's debts or legal obligations, and it doesn't put your personal assets behind the cooperative.
