We collect your legal name and mailing address because we're legally required to maintain these records as a cooperative under Colorado law. This information is used for co-op governance and membership records only. It is never shown publicly or shared with other members.
Your email address is used to sign in to your account and to send you essential communications related to your membership and purchases.
What we don't do
Subvert does not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not allow advertisers to target you through the platform. We will never ask you for your email password or any sensitive credentials.
Payments
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Subvert does not store your payment details or bank account information directly - that is held securely by Stripe.
Purchases
When you buy a release, the artist receives your username as part of the transaction record. No other personal information - including your email address or payment details - is shared with artists or labels.
