Your Subvert account has two distinct sides - your personal account and any artist or label pages you manage. It helps to understand how these relate to each other.
Your personal account This is your individual identity on the platform - your username, your library of purchased music, your collections, and your co-op membership information. Anyone can create a personal account and use the platform to browse and purchase music. You don't need to be a co-op member to have an account.
Co-op membership Joining the Subvert Co-op is a separate step from creating an account. Supporters become co-op members by paying the one-time $100 membership contribution. Artists and labels apply to join and are approved through our application process. Co-op membership gives you governance rights, co-ownership, and access to member pricing on releases.
Artist and label pages To create an artist or label page, you must be a co-op member. Once you are, you can manage one or more pages from the same personal account. Artist and label pages are separate from your personal account - they have their own name, profile, releases, and settings. You switch between your personal account and your pages using the dropdown in the top navigation bar.
The key thing to remember: your personal account and your artist page are not the same thing. Changes you make in your personal settings don't affect your artist page, and vice versa.
