Yes. You can resign your co-op membership at any time.
To resign:
- Sign in to your account
- Click your username in the top right corner
- Select Settings
- Scroll to the Danger Zone
- Click Resign Membership and confirm
Or email us at info@subvert.fm and we'll process it for you. The bylaws require 30 days' written notice for a withdrawal to take effect.
Resigning your membership is different from deleting your account. Resigning removes your co-op membership - your ownership stake, voting rights, and ownership points - but your platform account remains active. You can still sign in, browse, and purchase music.
If you're an artist or label, resigning your membership will delete your artist or label page and all associated releases. This cannot be undone. You can unpublish and hide your page at any time without resigning if you'd like to take a break without losing your content.
Inactivity Your membership also lapses if you haven't signed in to the platform in two years, or if you delete your account. If your membership lapses due to inactivity, you can reinstate it simply by signing in again - no new application or member agreement required.
For the full implications of leaving - including what happens to your membership fee, ownership points, and co-op standing - see subvert.fm/docs/how-to-leave-the-co-op.
